Chapter weightage

Every Chemistry chapter, ranked

Share is the chapter's average share of the whole paper. “Weighted est.” is a model: a weighted average of past papers with recent ones counting more, scaled to 180 questions. A guide to effort, not a forecast.

Right: weighted estimate (model), and the change since 2024.

Dropped from the NEET UG 2026 syllabus: The s-Block Elements (12), The Solid State (10), States of Matter (10), Surface Chemistry (8), General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements (8), Chemistry in Everyday Life (6), Environmental Chemistry (6), Hydrogen (6), Polymers (6).

Chemistry in each NEET paper

What does “share” mean?
A chapter's average share of the whole NEET paper over ten years. Years with 200 printed questions are scaled to 180 so they compare fairly.
Is the weighted estimate a prediction?
No. It is a weighted average of the chapter's recent share, scaled to a 180-question paper. It shows where past papers put their weight, not what the next paper will ask.
