A NEET daily timetable hour by hour, phase by phase

On a 4-hour weekday in the foundation phase, the plan schedules about 213 minutes: 151 min learning and 62 min revising. By the mock phase a 7-hour weekend day is 33% tests and mocks. The planner keeps 10% of every day free as a buffer, so a 4-hour day holds at most 215 planned minutes.

How the planned hours split

536 h learn · 478 h revise · 101 h tests

Marks are expected marks next paper; full prep is the hours to prepare every chapter fully at these settings. Planned hours in the plan above, all phases. A further 101 h of full mocks, their reviews and the must-know sweep cover every subject.

Asked in every paper, 2017 to 2026

47 chapters

The core asked every year: these chapters had at least one question in each of the 10 papers, most marks first. Across chapters, 67 of 183 topics were asked in 8 or more papers and again in 2025 or 2026; they produced 55% of the questions. The plan teaches them first and never cuts them.

How this is worked out: for each phase, the minutes the planner schedules on every study weekday and every weekend day are averaged, split by kind of work and by subject. Full mocks and the must-know sweep cover every subject, so the subject minutes add up to less than the total.

FAQ

About the daily timetable

How should I split my NEET study day?
It changes by phase. On a 4-hour weekday: foundation, 151 min learning and 62 min revising; build, 140 min learning and 74 min revising; revise, 123 min revising and 9 min on tests and mocks; mock, 131 min revising and 47 min on tests and mocks.
How many hours a day per subject?
Across the whole 40-week plan: Physics 290 hours, Chemistry 268 hours, Biology 456 hours. Per expected mark, Biology gets 1.27 hours, Chemistry gets 1.49 hours, Physics gets 1.62 hours.
Why does the plan leave time free each day?
It keeps a 10% buffer each day for overruns and breaks, so a 4-hour day holds at most 215 planned minutes.
Where do the numbers come from?
From all 1,875 questions in the NEET papers from 2017 to 2026, each mapped to its chapter, topic and idea. A chapter is worth its expected questions next paper times 4 marks, with recent years weighted more. Hours come from how hard its questions were and how much else builds on it.
Is the NEET 2027 exam date in this plan?
No. The NEET 2027 date has not been announced. This page assumes 40 weeks to the exam; set your own date in the planner and the whole plan is rebuilt around it.
