JEE Main 26 February 2021, Shift 2, Physics Q28
Question 28 of 90 in this shift, Physics question 28 of 30, Section B.
A point source of light S, placed at a distance 60 cm infront of the centre of a plane mirror of width 50 cm, hangs vertically on a wall. A man walks infront of the mirror along a line parallel to the mirror at a distance 1.2 m from it (see in the figure). The distance between the extreme points where he can see the image of the light source in the mirror is ________ cm.
The figure, in words
Vertical hatched line at left (the mirror on the wall) with a double-headed vertical arrow labelled 50 cm along it. A dotted horizontal line from the middle of the mirror to a dot labelled S, marked 60 cm. A vertical line on the right (the man's path); a horizontal double-headed arrow along the bottom labelled 1.2 m runs from the mirror to this right-hand line.Official answer
