Logic-gate circuit: input terminal marked 1 at upper left feeds a triangle-with-small-circle (inverting) symbol; its output goes to both inputs of an AND-shaped gate with a small circle at its output (top gate); a second triangle-with-small-circle symbol (pointing down) takes a line from the first and feeds a second AND-shaped gate with a small circle at its output (middle gate), whose output goes to a dot labelled Y. Input terminal marked 0 at lower left goes into a third AND-shaped gate with small circle at its output (bottom gate). The top gate's output line runs down the right side, joins Y and returns along the bottom into the third gate's other input; the third gate's output goes up into the middle gate's second input.
