In short

The origin is (0, 0, 0).

On an axis two coordinates vanish: points of the x-axis are (x, 0, 0), of the y-axis (0, y, 0) and of the z-axis (0, 0, z).

On a coordinate plane one coordinate vanishes: the XY-plane holds points (x, y, 0), the YZ-plane (0, y, z) and the ZX-plane (x, 0, z).

The missing letter names the zero: the ZX-plane has no y in its name, so y = 0 on it. The XY-plane is also where z = 0, and so on.

In the box through P(2, 4, 5), the corner F lies in the ZX-plane, so its y-coordinate is 0 and F is (2, 0, 5). The other corners on the coordinate planes are (2, 4, 0) on the XY-plane and (0, 4, 5) on the YZ-plane.
