A soap bubble and a liquid drop of equal radius are made from the same soap solution. Decide whether the Assertion (A) about their excess pressures is true, and whether the Reason (R) accounts for it.
- Assertion (A): The excess pressure inside a soap bubble is twice the excess pressure inside a liquid drop of the same radius, made from the same solution.
- Reason (R): A soap bubble film has two surfaces in contact with air, while a liquid drop has only one.
